She is close to original. Except for navigation electronics, not many upgrades were made over the years. Over the past 15 years, the boat was not sailed. In 2020, a new owner had the hull soda blasted and refurbished the bottom. He added a bow thruster. I am adding a genoa roller furler and updating the plumbing. If anyone is in a similar restoration, I would like to get to know you.

Overview:

Named “Rampage” from 1961 through 1979 and based in the Chesapeake Bay area. Changed to “Dad’s Dream” from 1979 through 2020 and based in Boca Raton, FL.

Currently named “Off Duty” and based in Sarasota, FL. She is almost in original condition except for electronics, sails and engine. I am restoring her and sailing regularly in the Florida Gulf Coast area. She is currently on the hard in Placida, FL during the hurricane season and for further work. I do all the work myself. If anyone is restoring a B-40 or would like to share knowledge, I would welcome a call.
