Momentum was the second Hinckley build for original owner Bob Wolmsley. He shaped a competition model with considerable weight savings- welded stem iron, honeycomb shelves, low profile toe rails and much more. The tall triple spreader  rig converted to a cruising mode with an added harken track. Bob added the leisure furl in late 90’s. 
I am the third owner.  The Yacht  was refit 2020-2021 with tall carbon rig before 2022 transatlantic crossing Bermuda to Troon, Scotland

original keel was 9 ft 6 inches. 2nd owner upgraded with Jim Taylor designed 7 ft 6 inch keel in 2005 And a deep elliptical rudder

Momentum enjoyed cruising in Scotland in May and June 2022.  She reached north latitude 57 degrees 45 minutes at the top of the isle of skye

we Raced in the Fastnet and finished a very windy race in cherbourge  11th in class, top third of IRC class 2 and fleet

it was breathtaking 

in 2024 we plan high latitude cruising to Iceland and the Faroe Islands before heading to the fjords along the west coast of Norway
