Originally designed in 1958 as a refinement of the BLOCK ISLAND 40.     BLOSSOM is a classic yawl-rigged early Mark III B-40 and represents a great opportunity to take over ownership of a meticulously cared for Bermuda 40 that is very well equipped and has been extensively upgraded by her current owner and her previous owner of over 30 years. She had an extensive refit at the Hinckley Service yard in Southwest Harbor, Maine in 2005 and was used lightly during Maine summers and stored inside a heated building in the winter. Her current owner has continued that care and use and has continued to upgrade and improve her. Besides her normal winter service and maintenance, her recent upgrades include:

    • New Raymarine full electronics upgrade including chartplotter, radar, autopilot, instruments, VHF and AIS (2018)
    • New DC panel and batteries including starting and house systems and furling system (2018)
