This was the last Hinckley Hood 43, customized to a 45'. Hull # 18, launched around 1984. I bought the boat from its original owner in 2000, and have developed it a fully functional cruiser, with solar, wind and modern cruising systems. She is currently in Hilton Head SC. I plan on bringing her back up to SW Harbor next season, where she was born. These photos were taken at the Marathon Marina, Fla.

I also had the distinct pleasure of talking at length to both Bob Hinckley and Ted Hood about SWEETWATER. Our conversations were a real eye opener into the boat design and pedigree. SWEETWATER does all boat things well…She sails well, entertains well, and lives aboard well. I could not have bought a better design for my needs as a cruiser…mnh
